Masking It is a (super short, like 5 minutes at most, maybe) about the masks we wear in life.
And how that prevents us from seeing other people
as well, human.
The film begs the question:
Where does snap judgement end...and the human begin?
Director - Michael Payton brings insight, a strong love for film and direction, and his unique vision to this film. He's done several shorts already, schooled from (just about) birth in all things movies. Check out his take on a Hallmark here: https://bit.ly/3g8pABx and find him on Facebook for all things movies, music and well, opinions on The Synder Cut.
Writer - Liz Rasley brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to both the script and production elements (read: she's lived many lives before, as both a project manager and a writer, so this is a mash-up of all the things she loves.) Find her and random opinions on Twitter here: http://bit.ly/2BjJZLV and all her (other) random opinions and writing can be found here: https://bit.ly/3e0DRxH
Ardi has a list of accomplishments to his name (and that's even before we get to his reel.) We thought he was pitch perfect as our John.
Lisa's been featured in commercials and several other projects that highlight her versatility as an actor. She's great as our Karen.
Ashlie's reel highlights drew us in, with acting similar to "Drunk History," but without the actual alcohol and drinking involved. She has a small cameo in the film.
